Today, it has been lovingly reimagined as a romantic rustic wedding venue—one rooted in history, warmth, and connection.

With axe‑hewn timber beams, authentic windows and doors, and soft string lights glowing overhead, the barn offers an atmosphere that feels intimate, relaxed, and welcoming. Couples and guests often comment on how comfortable and genuine it feels—an experience that’s becoming increasingly rare.

  • Maximum capacity: 100 guests (as per fire regulations)
  • Ceremony options:
    • Ceremony and reception together in the barn
    • Outdoor ceremony on the grounds with reception in the barn
  • Greenhouse option:
    • 20’ x 40’ greenhouse available for additional space
    • Ideal for cocktail hour, smaller gatherings, photos, or peace of mind in case of rain ☔

Our barn is perfectly suited for intimate weddings of up to 100 guests, allowing your celebration to feel personal and unhurried.

Each layout option is designed to keep your day flowing naturally and comfortably.

What’s Included in Your Barn Wedding Rental 🤍

Your 24‑hour barn rental allows you to enjoy the space at your own pace:

  • Chairs for your ceremony and reception
  • Exclusive use of the barn for 24 hours
  • Rustic barn décor and ambient string lighting
  • Power suitable for a DJ or live music
  • Use of the grounds, Inn, and greenhouses for photos
  • A relaxed rehearsal walk‑through
  • Optional rehearsal or welcome gathering available for a small additional fee

Set‑up and tear‑down are not included, giving couples the flexibility to design the day exactly as they imagine. Assistance can be arranged if needed.

On‑Site Accommodations at the Inn (Required) 🏡

Wedding bookings include exclusive use of all four guest rooms at Auld Farm Inn for the wedding day—creating a true wedding weekend experience.

  • Three rooms with queen beds
  • One room with a double and a twin bed
  • All rooms include private entrances and en‑suite bathrooms
  • Views overlooking the barn and surrounding farmyard

Couples love getting ready on‑site, sharing quiet moments before the ceremony, and gathering together afterward on the large wrap‑around deck. The following morning offers a gentle, unhurried close to the celebration ☀️.

  • Check‑in: 3:00 pm
  • Check‑out: 11:00 am
  • Optional post‑wedding brunch available in our dining room

Policies & Practical Details 🕯️

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone:

  • Noise cut‑off: Midnight for amplified or loud music
    • The barn remains available for quiet use after midnight
  • Liquor service: Couples must obtain their own liquor licence if alcohol is served
  • Fire & décor safety:
    • No open flames or smoking permitted
    • Décor may not be attached using nails, screws, or permanent fixtures

Pricing & Booking Details 📅

  • Barn wedding rental (24 hours): $2,750 + tax
  • Deposit: $1,000 to secure your date (applied to total)
  • Balance due: At checkout following the wedding
  • Cancellation: Refund available up to 6 weeks prior to the event date
  • Booking deadline: All dates must be confirmed by March 31, 2026
